Started at age of 7 with swimming in Bulgaria and getting numeros Nationals Championships medals in youth swimming.

 

Age of 14 started Modern Pentathlon in Bulgaria, attracted to horses and with love to animals:

 

1991 – 4th Place         – World Championships, San Antonio, Texas.

1990 – Bronze            – Goodwill Games, Seattle, Washington.

1990 – 6th Place         – World Championships, Finland.

1989 – 4th Place         – World Championships, Hungary.

1986 – Gold               – World Championships, Italy.

1986 – Gold               – Games of the Socialist Countries, Hungary.

1985 – Bronze            – World Championships, Kiev, Ukraine.

1985 – Gold               – Games of the Socialist Countries, Romania.

1984 – Gold               – Fencing Bulgarian National Championships.

1984 – 16th Place       – World Championships, Romania.

1994 – 1991                Seven (7) times National Champion for Bulgaria

 

In 1997 started to train again as I was getting my US CitizenShip and trying to get to compete for USA at the upcoming 2000 Sydney Olympics Game:

 

I was to be the 2000 Olympic Champion in Sydney, but due to cramps with pure nutrition before the Games I lost the bottle and ended up in 9th place in Modern Pentathlon, but life is precious :-)

1999 – Gold               – Pan American Championships, Canada.

1998 – 6th Place         – US Fencing National Championships, New York.

 

In 2010, I started my club, OLYMPIAN FENCING CLUB, I was focused more on my students and had not much time to practice but participated in some Fencing tournaments and national championships for Div 1 and Veterans.  I won many local and national medals for Div 1 as well as Veterans 40 & 50.
