Division Clubs
Alamo Fencing Academy has been in San Antonio since 2004. With Head Coach Andrei Samorodov leading the way, the club has had great success all across the board. Winning regional, national and even international tournaments, the little town of San Antonio, has been put on the Fencing Map!
We specialize in the weapon called EPEE (eh-pay.) It is one of the 3 weapons in fencing.
Austin Fencers Club was founded in 1992 by Maitre Eric Mallet, who grew up and trained as both a fencer and a fencing master in Paris, France. Since its founding, Austin Fencers Club has brought the timeless sport of fencing to hundreds of Austinites of all ages. Some of our fencers have achieved top results in national and international competition. Others simply enjoy fencing as a fun, fast-paced way to way to stay fit and to exercise both body and mind.
The Fencing Club at UT
Welcome to the official site of the University of Texas Fencing Club! We are a collegiate club dedicated to practicing and learning fencing. Our club teaches and practices all three weapons: epee, foil, and sabre. The club is open to any UT student or faculty member, and welcomes all visitors!
Olympian Fencing Club is devoted to teaching the art and sport of fencing as a club and fencing school for beginners to advanced students. People call fencing “Physical Chess”. And while watching a fencing “bout”, the movements, attacks and defensive strategies can be so fast that it is hard to see or understand the calculated nature of the sport and the athleticism to be a great fencer.
Round Rock Fencing Club
Safety, Respect and Fun are the three main philosophies of our program. We want every fencer to have fun and by doing so the learning comes easier and they get a lot of enjoyment out of this wonderful sport. The fencer who is having fun tends to stay in the sport much longer. We provide classes for Youth, Beginner, Intermediate and Competitive in Foil, Epee and Sabre ages 5 and up.
San Antonio Phoenix Fencers Club
San Antonio Phoenix Fencer’s Club is San Antonio’s only three-weapon fencing club offering instruction in Foil, Epee, and Sabre. Our 4,700 sq. ft. facility is conveniently located in central San Antonio, near 281 and the San Antonio International Airport.
Our goal is to provide Olympic sport fencing instruction and training for children and adults at a variety of levels from beginner to recreational to competitive. We offer several different learning opportunities including: group classes, individual lessons, clinics, camps, and open bouting. All SAPFC coaches are certified by the United States Fencing Coaches’ Association (USFCA) and adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
At Texas Fencing Academy, we teach to a broad spectrum of interest levels. One of our goals from a coaching perspective is to not be the limiting factor in our fencers successes - be those recreational or national/international. To that end we participate in continuing our education by going to the Olympic Sports Foundation hosted United States Fencing Coaches College and also participating in the United States Fencing Coaches Association. We also keep it light in nature for our youth fencers - after all on their first night they are inducted into the Klingon Federation.
